In December 1531, La Virgen de Guadalupe appeared four times to a peasant named Juan Diego on the Hill of Tepeyac near Mexico City. According to the story, after the 4th appearance, La Virgen arranged flowers in Juan Diego's cloak (mantle) for him to carry to the Archbishop. When Juan Diego opened the cloak before the Archbishop, the flowers fell out, revealing the image that we know today.
This song contains only some of the many names given to Mary.
